Privacy

Your answers aren't stored on our servers, and your chapters live only in your own browser. We don't sell any of it, to anyone.

Your answers

The six questions you answer are sent to Anthropic's API, which writes the chapter. We don't keep them on our servers, and no one at FreshSaga reads them. Anthropic's own privacy policy covers how they handle the request on their end.

Your chapters

Finished chapters are saved in your browser's storage, up to three at a time, so you can read one again later without writing a new one. They never reach us. You can remove any of them yourself, any time, from the saga page — a small × on each cover deletes that one, or "Remove my data" in the footer clears all of it at once. Clearing your browser's data removes them the same way — there's no other copy, so keep one yourself if it matters to you.

Bot protection

We use Cloudflare Turnstile, running invisibly, to keep automated requests from hammering the writer. It looks at some details about your visit to do that — Cloudflare's own Turnstile Privacy Addendum covers what and how.

Rate limiting

To stop one visitor writing chapter after chapter, we count requests against a scrambled version of your IP address, never the address itself. Each count expires on its own.

Email

If you give us an email to keep a copy of a chapter, we send it once, through Resend, to that address and nowhere else. The chapter goes in the message — your answers too, if you chose to include them — and we don't keep a copy of any of it on our servers afterward.

Ticking "send me the occasional FreshSaga email" is a separate choice, left unticked unless you tick it yourself. Only then does your address go to Mailchimp, who we use to send that newsletter and nothing else — no chapters, no answers, just the address. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. To have your address removed from either list, or to ask what we hold, write to daniel@freshsaga.com.

Analytics

We keep simple counts of things like how many people reach each question or finish a chapter, so we know what's working. For a few of those we also keep a running total of word counts, so we can see roughly how much people tend to write per question — never the words themselves, just a number. That's all any of it is — a running total per day, with nothing that identifies you: no cookies, no IP addresses, no session IDs, nothing tied to you as a visitor.

Your rights

Ask what we hold on you, ask us to delete it, or just ask a question — daniel@freshsaga.com reaches a person, not a form.
